Priority Toyota Chesapeake is now hiring part-time and full-time Service Lane Greeters. Our extremely high-volume service department is recognized as one of the best in the region with a state-of-the-art facility equipped with the latest technology. This position is vital in our customers’ overall service experience. Service Lane Greeters are responsible for greeting the customer upon arrival, checking customer in through standard processes and helping customer to the correct Assistant Service Manager (ASM). Greeters are also responsible for assisting customers at the end of their service visit. FIRST and LAST impressions are made with the Greeter; a professional and friendly demeanor is essential. Our goal is to always make a customer feel welcome and to have a positive and inviting attitude at all times.
DIRECT REPORT: Service Director, Service Managers, Service Drive Supervisor
BASIC JOB DESCRIPTION: Key role to the service department. Make the customer feel welcomed. Maintain a happy inviting attitude at all times. The Service Lane Greeter sets the tone for the customer’s service experience.
QUALIFICATIONS: Great customer service. Legible hand writing. Typing 40 WPM. Valid driver’s license. Maintain a good driving record at all times. Ability to follow policies and procedures. Adapt to change.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Will be on your feet walking six to eight hours per shift. Must be willing and able to lift objects weighing up to 30 pounds. Will drive vehicles both automatic and manual. Will be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, other hazardous and non-hazardous materials and inclement weather.
DRESS CODE/UNIFORMS: This position requires a uniform.
